During the last hail storm over 100,000 homes were damaged. Glendale was hit
the hardest. The two major repairs that need to be done as a result are roof and painting. Some homeowners wonder what is
best to be done first: the roof repair or painting.
It is always better to leave painting as a last step of a home improvement
project. When the old roof is being removed and thrown down on the ground, a lot of dust and dirt ends up on the walls of
the house. Some roofers do a better job than others, when removing the old roof, but as a rule, there are going to be some
scratches around the trim and some girt on the walls around the house left behind. With painting is done at the very end,
a lot of touch ups and stress will be avoided.
